La Scuola dei Quartieri, Comune di Milano

The project was funded by the European Union – European Social Fund, under the Metropolitan Cities Operational Program 2014-2020. Ibrida has been selected at the first place among the *winners* of the call La “Scuola dei Quartieri”, promoted by the Municipality of Milan. A call that aims to support projects and services to improve the life in neighborhoods of Milan.

Cariplo Factory

Ibrida is proudly supported by Cariplo Factory S.r.l. (CF), a hub of Open Innovation, Talent Management and Corporate Social Responsibility. Cariplo feeds the growth of Italian startups through vertical innovation programs and open innovation activities with the most important companies.

Ibrida was selected among the 10 best projects in Italy in the field “Food & Environment” of “GetIt! Call for Impact”, promoted by Cariplo Factory and FSVGDA. This call appeals to aspiring entrepreneurs, start-ups and companies that promote economically sustainable social, cultural and environmental innovation.

Fondazione Social Venture

As part of the Get it! Call for Impact, Ibrida got mentored by Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell’Amore (FSVGDA), a foundation that invests in social impact projects and promotes the culture of impact investing.

Subsequently, Ibrida was also supported by the mentorship of Mr. Andrea Monti, Director of Hatch CoLab, with his business excellence.

A Cube

Following the benefits from the Getit! Call, Ibrida followed an incubation program in Milan with A|Cube, the first certified incubator and accelerator in Italy specialized in companies with high social, environmental and cultural value. This incubation path lasted from May to September 2019.

Vivere a Spreco Zero

Ibrida won the “Vivere a Spreco Zero 2020” award, VIII edition, for being the best business practice working towards circular economy and sustainable development.

Vivere a Spreco Zero is a prestigious award for sustainability as part of the Zero Waste campaign with the patronage of the Ministry of the Environment, ANCI and the World Food Program, Italy.

Forbes Italia

Ibrida got featured in Forbes Italia, March 2020 “30 under 30” edition as a “local and anti-waste beer” in the sustainable innovation section. Post this feature, Ibrida was again invited to share its story in a video interview with Forbes Italia – Siamo Jedi. The interview was live on BFC Video channel 511 Sky and Tivusat 61. Plug and Play

Plug and Play is the ultimate innovation platform, bringing together the best startups and the world’s largest corporations. Plug and Play expanded the Food and Fintech programs from Silicon Valley to Italy. Ibrida was invited to participate in the Plug and Play Italy Winter Summit 2019 to share the experience of building a startup and be the beer partner for the 2 days of the event.


In the winter edition of Wired Italia magazine dedicated to the Next Generation, Ibrida was featured in the special section “Let’s restart from Z”, dedicated to young talents. Ibrida, a “pint of bread” was recognised for its goal to build and shape a new future. Find the article here.

Gambero Rosso

Gambero Rosso is the leading platform for content, training, promotion and consultancy in the Italian Wine Travel Food sector. It has an offer of periodicals, books, guides, broadcasting (Sky 132 and 412) and web OTT to reach enthusiasts, professionals, commercial distribution channels in Italy and around the world. Ibrida got featured on Gambero Rosso for its vision and dedication to reuse surplus bread with each bottle of beer. Digital Design Days

Digital Design Days is a conference gathering together thousands of professional designers, the brightest creative minds in the digital industry worldwide, and the most innovative brands. During Covid-19, DDD organized an online conference with more than 100 speakers from around the world, and Ibrida was also selected to share their experience of building a startup with their strong design mindset and approach.
